S&P 500 Index Futures Lower In Volatile Session

S&P 500 index futures are trading lower by eight points at 2036 in Friday's session. In pre-market trading, the index sold off but found support in the area of the three lows from early April at 2030.50. Off the open, the index found support ahead of that level at 2034.75 and rallied to 2046.75 before falling back under 2040 and back to the lows for the day.

Seven of the top 10 components of the index are in the red. The top loser is Apple Inc. AAPL, which is trading lower by $0.64 at $92.60.

The top gainer is Amazon.com, Inc. AMZN, which is trading higher by $2 at $661.09.
