S&P 500 Index Futures Under Selling Pressure

S&P 500 index futures are trading lower by 23 points at 2051.25 in Tuesday's session. The selloff from the premarket session has continued into the regular session. The index has dipped under 2050, reaching 2049.50, but has not yet reached Friday's low (2045.75). All but one of the top ten component of the index are in the red. Apple Inc. AAPL, the lone is winner is attempting to end a eight day losing streak and is higher by $0.38 at $94.02. Leading the way on the downside is Exxon Mobil XOM shares are following Crude Oil lower and are off by $$1.44 at $87.69.
