S&P 500 Futures Higher In Volatile Session

S&P 500 index futures are trading higher by 5 points at 1980 in Thursday's session. The index briefly traded to 1902.50 in premarket trading, as oil futures exploded to the upside. However, off the open the was rally was capped at 1896.25 and began to move lower. All of the top ten components of the index are in the green. Leading the way on the upside it Facebook FB shares, which are trading higher by $12 at $106.45. It is followed by Amazon.com Inc AMZN shares which are trading higher by $23 at $606.35.
