S&P 500 Index Futures Lower

S&P 500 index futures are trading lower by 31 points at 1955 in Thursday's session. A trading halt in Asian markets instigated a sharp decline off the open and has been recover some of its losses. All of the top ten compements of the index are in the red. Leading the way on the downside is Facebook Inc. FB shares which are trading lower by $2.97 at $100. It is followed by Microsoft MSFT shares which are trading lower by $1.35 at $52.70.
