December Lean hogs are trading at 66.20, up 0.22. Thursday's USDA hog slaughter was 433,000 head versus a year ago at 423,000 head.

Lean hog futures traded very choppy and on both sides of unchanged before ending the session a little higher. February lean hogs are trading at 69.07, up 0.25 and April hogs are trading at 72.97 , up 0.37.
