S&P 500 Index Futures Trading Higher

S&P 500 index futures are trading higher by 28 points at 1949.75 in Tuesday's session. The index has been able to maintain a majority of its gains from pre-market trading.

Off the open, the index found resistance ahead of the pre-market high (1961), only reaching 1959.25, before falling back. Intra-day support at this time comes in at 1946.75.

All of the top 10 components in the index are in the green. Leading the way on the upside are its top two components: Apple Inc. AAPL shares are trading higher by $2.79 at $112.06 and Microsoft Corporation MSFT shares are trading higher by $1.21 at $43.82.
