AUD/USD moves lower

AUD/USD is trading at 0.7073, down 0.0036. The RBA did not change monetary policy. The AIG August Manufacturing Index rose to 51.7 from 50.3, exports fell to 44.8 from 51.9 and employment rose to 51.3 from 48.0. Building Permits were up 4.2 percent in July versus down 5.2 percent in June. Australia's current account was minus 19.0 billion versus a revised lower minus 13.5 billion. The National Bureau of Statistics of China's August PMI came out at 49.7 versus July's 50.0 and the Service PMI came out at 53.4 versus July's 53.9. The Caixin Manufacturing final reading for August came out at 47.3 versus the flash reading of 47.1. The services PMI came out at 51.5 for august versus the July reading of 53.8.
