EUR/USD is trading at 1.0971, up 0.0031. The pair is trading choppy just under the highs of the session Friday during early U.S. forex trading. German Retail sales for June were down 2.3 % versus up 0.4% in May. Year over year the June retail sales data was up 5.1 % versus down 1.0 % in May. July Eurozone CPI came out up 0.2 % year over year. Core Inflation was up 1 %. versus June's up 0.8%. Eurozone June Unemployment was unchanged at 11.1 %. Chatter about U.S. monetary policy and ECB policy has kept both buyers and sellers active.
