Live Cattle Sharply Lower

Tuesday's USDA cattle slaughter was 113,000 head versus a year ago at 114,000 head. August Cattle was trading at 145.20, down 1.50. October Live Cattle was trading at 147.37, down 1.65. December Live Cattle was trading at 149.85, down 1.30. The USDA is scheduled to release Cattle on Feed data on Friday at 3:00 p.m. ET. The USDA is scheduled to release monthly Cold Storage data on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. ET.
