U.S. Dollar Index moves down

The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 97.41, down 0.74. The dollar index is trading near the lows of the session on Tuesday. Trading is choppy and some chatter about buyers near 97.07 is making the rounds. General market talk about news headlines and U.S. economic data due out for the rest of the week has kept both buyers and sellers active. Existing Home sales are scheduled for release Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM ET.
