U.S. Dollar Index Mostly Higher

The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 97.59, up 0.31. Trading is choppy and rangebound.

Market chatter Friday's U.S. economic data is just beginning. June CPI and Core CPI are due out at 8:30 a.m. ET, along with June Housing Starts Building Permits. The July reading for Michigan Sentiment is set for release at 10:00 a.m. ET.

Fed Chair Janet Yellen will testify later today before the Senate Banking Committee. Long-Term TIC Flows for May are due out late this afternoon. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew is meeting with policy officials in Berlin and Paris to discuss Greece and other matters regarding the global economy.
