S&P 500 Index Futures Trading Higher

S&P 500 index futures are trading higher by three points at 2078.50 in Tuesday's session. It has tested both end of Monday's trading range. During premarket action it traded through Monday's low (2062.75) reaching 2062 before staging a rebound. Shortly after the open it raced to 2082.25, which exceeded Monday's high (2081.50), by the exact same amount. The index is being lead by Procter & Gamble PG shares which are trading higher by $0.63 at $78.76, but is well off its high made off the the open at $79.60. It is followed by Microsoft MSFT shares which are trading higher by $0.32 at $45.79. The biggest loser of the top ten components is General Electric GE shares which are trading lower by $0.15 at $27.06.
