S&P 500 Index Futures Trading Higher

Joel Elconin is the co-host of Benzinga's #PreMarket Prep, a daily trading idea radio show. S&P 500 index futures were trading higher by 15 points at 2095 in Wednesday's session. The rally that started in the pre-market session has continued into the regular session. So far the index has surpassed Monday's high (2093.25) and may be heading to 2099.75, which was the high during Friday's intraday session. The high in the pre-market session on Friday was 2102.75. All of the top 10 components of the index are in the green. The index is being lead by Wells Fargo WFC, which was trading higher by $0.56 at $57.27, and Apple Inc. AAPL, which was trading higher by $1.50 at $128.92. The SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust SPY was trading at $210.31, up $1.84.
