U.S. Dollar Index Lower

The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 95.22, down 0.33. Market talk about U.S. monetary and fiscal policy has kept trading active. Market chatter about U.S. economic data due the rest of the week is making the rounds. The U.S. Treasury budget statement is due out at 2:00 PM ET Wednesday. On Thursday Initial Jobless Claims, Continuing Jobless Claims, Retail Sales for May, Retail Sales ex-autos for May, Export Prices ex-agriculture for May and Import Prices ex-oil for May are all due out at 08:30 AM ET.
