U.S. Dollar Index Higher

The June U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 97.54, up 0.55. The U.S. Dollar Index is trading firm and choppy on Monday afternoon. Market talk about U.S. and overseas economic due out on Tuesday is just beginning to make the rounds. U.S. April Factory Orders are due out on Tuesday at 10:00 AM followed by U.S. Auto and Truck Sales for May. Market chatter about economic data on Wednesday is just starting. The ADP Employment Change data is due along with the U.S. April trade balance figures and the ISM Services Survey for May. Later Wednesday afternoon the U.S. Federal Reserve's Beige book is due out.
