Lean Hogs little higher

Wednesday's USDA Hog slaughter was 431,000 head versus a year ago at 417,000 head. Lean Hogs traded mostly higher in the nearby contracts on Wednesday and the farther out contracts were weak . At last check July hogs were trading at 83.45, up 0.65 and August Hogs were trading at 83.17, up 0.22. October Hogs at last check were trading at 73.70, down 0.12 and December Hogs were trading at 69.82 down 0.25.
