Live Cattle sharply higher

Live Cattle futures ended the trading session on Thursday up the daily available trading limit. At last check June Live Cattle was trading at 149.02,up 3.00. August Cattle is trading at 147.85, up 3.00. Chatter about cash prices and demand ahead helped bring buyers in. Thursday's USDA Cattle slaughter was 105,000 head versus a year ago at 117.000 head.
