Wheat Little Higher

Wheat Futures are trading steady to a little higher Friday morning after Thursday's decline. The USDA reported that Weekly Wheat export sales were 181,700 tons; Overseas EU sales were 721,000 tons; for the year EU sales are 24.4 million tons versus last year's 22.7 million level. Chatter about better weather for wheat crops overseas and for some areas of the U.S. continues. There is some market talk about lingering dry weather in parts of Kansas and Nebraska. Positioning chatter before the end of the month USDA report continues. May Wheat is trading at 501 1/4, up 2 cents. July Chicago wheat is trading at 506 1/2, up 1 /4 cents. May Kansas City Wheat is trading at 543 3/4, up 3/4 of a cent.
