Live Cattle Sharply Higher

Wednesday USDA cattle slaughter was 106,000 head versus a year ago at 106,000 head. April Live Cattle Futures settled sharply higher at 154.05, up 3.00. June Live cattle settled sharply higher at 146.32, up 2.65. Trading was very choppy early on and firm into the close.
