NY Soft Commodities Slightly Higher In Early Trade

NY Soft Commodities were trading higher to start the holiday week. March Cocoa Futures were trading at $2988, up 0.08. Chatter of firm global cocoa consumption helped lift cocoa prices last week. March Cotton Futures were up 0.34 at $61.23. Traders are expecting cotton plantings in the United States to decrease. The strong dollar weighed on Coffee and Sugar late Friday in choppy holiday trading. March Sugar Futures were trading up 0.03 at $15.01. March Coffee Futures are up 0.035 at $175.05.
