Feeder Cattle Futures May Trade With Expanded Limits Thursday

February Cattle was trading up $1.17 at $1.5700. March Feeder Cattle was trading lower by $1.95 at $214.77 and did not trade Thursday after opening down the limit. Cash Cattle traded at $1.57 in Kansas City, down from $162 to $164 last week. On Friday, the USDA Cattle on Feed report for December is due out at 3:00 p.m. ET. February Lean Hogs were nearly unchanged at $80.62. Ham prices were quoted at $72.11 mid-day versus last week at $81.24. Daily slaughter was slightly above expectations at 430,000 head. Talk of some light buying in June Hogs was lingering.
