Gold Futures Struggling to Maintain 1300

Gold futures are trading lower for the third consecutive day. After failing to clear the multiple highs in the 1420 handle earlier in the week, the contract is struggling to stay above 1300. The current low (1293.60), which coincides with Wednesday's low (1294.60) appears to be the primary support above the October 2 low (1276.90).
