OK, the big event was the FOMC … but now its time for the Asian session! Intrigue and mystery are all part of the packagae … and it kicks off with … (wait for it) …. New Zealand Q2 GDP! I can hear the sharp intake of breath around the globe!

Q2 GDP (seasonally adjusted figures), due at 2245GMT:

• expected is +0.6% q/q, prior was +1.0%
• and +3.8% y/y expected, prior was +3.8%
