Headline: Russia may restrict all or some EU fruit imports by the end of the week, reports RIA news citing the veterinary service.

That headline raises so many questions. Why on earth would you restrict fruit imports? Even if you wanted to punish Europe, who are you really hurting with this? Spain and some fruit farmers?

Second, why is the source the veterinary service? Are horses the only ones who eat apples in Russia?
