Cathay General Bancorp Announces Net Income of $1.9 Million

Cathay General Bancorp CATY, the holding company for Cathay Bank today announced results for the second quarter. The net income was $1.9 million compared to a net loss of $25.7 million in the first quarter of 2010 and compared to a net loss of $24.7 million in the same quarter a year ago.
