Versar Awarded $11.8M Contract Extension

announced today that it has been awarded an $11.8 million task order for continued Construction Management and Quality Assurance operations in Afghanistan. This task order, awarded during the company’s fourth quarter, will allow Versar to continue to provide engineering support, construction management and quality assurance operations in Afghanistan through November 2010 for the Air Force Center for Engineering and Environment (AFCEE). Tony Otten, CEO of Versar, Inc., said, “This contract extension clearly demonstrates the confidence our Government has in the many services Versar provides. We are privileged to continue our construction management and quality assurance support for reconstruction in Afghanistan.”
