released financial results on Monday after the market closed that were in line with Wall Street earnings estimates. The Pep Boys-Manny, Moe & Jack reported that its fiscal 1st quarter net income rose to $12 million, or 23 cents per share, up from $10.9 million, or 21 cents per share, a year earlier. Revenue was also up slightly, rising 2.7% to $510 million, up from $496.5 million a year earlier. According to a poll of analysts by Thomson Reuters, the average Wall Street estimate called for earnings of 23 cents per share. Shares of The Pep Boys-Manny, Moe & Jack were down more than 1% at $10.59 per share in after hours trading.
