Dow Closes Above 11,000

The Dow closed about 11,000 for the first time since May 3, which was just before the "Flash Crash." The Dow added 57.90 points to close at 11,006. The S&P 500 gained 7.07 points to finish at 1,165. The Nasdaq had the best run on a percentage gain, gaining 18.24 points to 2,401. This is the 37th time closing above 11,000 since it first happened back in 1999.
