Excellent Bloomberg Businessweek Piece On David Sokol Saga

Bloomberg Businessweek just published an excellent piece on the rise and fall of David Sokol, who was harshly criticized by the Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK-B) audit committee yesterday for his trading in Lubrizol LZ shares ahead of an eventual Berkshire acquisition. Although this story had faded from the headlines until yesterday's bombshell, it may well be looked back upon as one of the all-time blemishes on the career of Warren Buffett, as well as one of the more compelling business stories of 2011. Anyone familiar with the story undoubtedly still has questions. Paul Barrett's expose does a good deal to answer many of them, as well as shed light on others. This story is as interesting from a personal perspective as it is from a business perspective, and Bloomberg has managed to capture both aspects in the article, titled "How Warren Buffett Protege David Sokol Lost His Way."
