Twitter Rolls Out Email Notification for Retweets, Favorites

Twitter today announced in a tweet it is rolling out an email notification system that will inform users whenever someone they follow retweets or favorites one of their tweets. Currently, users receive email notifications when they receive new followers or are sent direct messages. For users not interesting in stoking their ego while watching their retweet count shoot up, the feature can easily be disabled under Twitter's “Settings” menu. Via Design TAXI News.
