Shaq Retires Rather than Hear About Greece Debt Crisis One More Time

Is it a coincidence that the man too talented to fail retired on the same day that Greece was downgraded by Moody's? (Hint: maybe) Consider the similarities. Shaq is a living legend who seems to have been around since the beginning of time. Greece has been around in one form or another since loincloths and robes were appropriate dinner attire. Shaq made some, well, interesting career choices, including the movie
Kazaam
and pretty much all four rap albums he recorded. Greece? Well...they keep doing something wrong, since this wouldn't be their first default. Or second. Or third. Or fourth...Then again, if you can default five times and still get people to loan you money, perhaps you're doing something very, very right. Shaq is worth hundreds of millions of dollars, which is a good thing. So is Greece...which is probably a bad thing for Greece. Shaq never had to hand over $4 million to his wife to keep her happy (*cough* Kobe *cough*). Greece? You can bet they won't pay, either.
