Despite all the hoopla in Europe, confidence in precious metals lacks the highs that it had earlier. Even if the Europeans develop a plan, we don't know how long the plan will last, but I don't know if we'll see an increase in precious metal prices then (relative to the plan).
Fundamentally, with central banks "easing" currency to correct problems, precious metals have substance that currencies lack: they have limits.
