Hacker Group Anonymous to Launch Social Network

Kicked out of the fledgling Google+ community, the hacker group Anonymous announced yesterday it will launch its own social network called AnonPlus. AnonPlus is at this time shrouded in mystery—“a social network where there is no fear of censorship, of blackout, nor of holding back”—but Anonymous said the full site will go up “soon” for users to “interact with”. “This project is not overnight and will take many of those out there who simply want a better internet,” the hive-mind collective wrote, adding the network will be for all internet users and not just Anonymous members. Three days ago, the accounts for the group's Google+ page, Gmail, YouTube and other Google-owned services had been suspended by the Mountain View giant for violating community standards.
