shares are trading lower by $1.26 at $14.53in Monday's session. With no relevant news out on the issue, another wave of sellers have taken the issue to its lowest level since it bottomed at $13.93 in March 2012. That low was made on its ascent to its all time high ($97.28) that was made in January 2014,when the 3D printing sector was the rage of Wall Street analysts. Since disastrous Q1 report on May 6 for ($0.05 vs.Est. $0.17) wiht revenues ($160.72 vs. Est. $182.78M), the issue swooned from its May 5 close ($24.21) to its current level. Along these lines,3D Systems has missed the mark in three of its last four quarters and its latest miss was 70 percent below estimates for EPS and 12 percent for revenues. Ater a flat open, the issue was unable to reclaim Friday's close ($15.79), only reaching $15.74 before going into a freefall. It has continued to make new lows for the session, with the current low standing at $14.52. It should be noted today's slaughter is taking place on higher than average volume. So far, 3.4M shares have traded compared to its 20 day average of 2.7M with just over three hours remaining in the session.
