Tesla Motors Inc TSLA was at the Automotive News World Congress in Detroit last night, and Benzinga was in attendance. Here are four things he said that -- literally -- blew our minds.
1. "I want to enable large numbers of people to go to Mars."
Musk focused on Mars when he discussed SpaceX, the space transport services company he founded in 2002.
2. "I think that it's important for us as a civilization to become a multi-planet species."
Yep.
3. "I think that all transport, with the exception of rockets, will go electric."
4. "I'm committed to stay at Tesla as long as I'm alive... I may not be the CEO of Tesla, but I will certainly be with the company forever."
That's commitment.
