FOX Business: The Power to Prosper The markets bounced back from Wednesday's selloff after a strong report on the housing sector boosted traders' sentiment. Today's Markets As of 1:00 p.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 106 points, or 0.87%, to 12,257, the S&P 500 gained 10 points, or 0.8%, to 1,260 and the Nasdaq Composite climbed 19.2 points, or 0.74%, to 2,609. The number of Americans signing contracts to buy existing single-family homes rose 7.3% in November from October to the highest level in more than a year and a half, according to the National Association of Realtors.
