Benzinga is looking for passionate, driven individuals to join its teams as interns for the upcoming year. As part of this process, we have posted an ad on our new partner, Internships.com (be sure to check Benzinga frequently for our soon-to-be-released interview with their CEO, Robin Richards). We will be chronicling our journey using Internships.com to recruit talented interns looking for experience in finance and media. We’re quite interested to see how this innovative site will work and the type interns we will find. Essentially, we’re looking for three main types of people: techno-savvy designers and developers (Drupal skills are a major plus!), writers (stock market experience/knowledge is preferred), and self-starting, good communicators for marketing, public relations and business development. Our offices are based in Michigan, but those with Drupal and/or stock market experience may be able to work remotely. Don’t expect this to be a paper-pushing, let’s-create-some-busy-work-for-our-intern” type of internship. Benzinga offers a fast-paced environment for people seeking to enter a very exciting field. If you’re looking to file papers and fetch coffee for your internship, look elsewhere. We’ve been using your run-of-the-mill methods for finding new employees and interns, so we’re exciting about tapping into a new resource with
Internships.com
. Thus far, it’s a pretty easy site to use for employers. I only wish I had the time to explore all the tools.

If you think you have what it takes to join our team, apply at Internships.com.
