to an article on the Wall Street Journal, Chief Executive Eric Schmidt of Google Inc
GOOG and Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg went off together in Schmidt’s car in a private rendezvous, after they retired from the Allen and Company conference for the day.
Both the CEOs have lot to talk about, with Google working overtime to develop a social-networking site and Facebook working to improve its search capabilities. Moreover, Facebook is steadily recruiting Google employees and GOOG is on a hunt for a new head for its social networking unit.
The conference, being held in Sun Valley, also boasted of the presence of eBay
EBAY CEO John Donahoe. While talking to the WSJ, Donahoe mentioned that his company is “open to acquisitions.”
One could also see a host of executives arriving in the valley. Chief Executives Bobby Kotick of Activision
ATVI, Tom Glocer of Thomson Reuters
TRI and Les Moonves of CBS Corp
CBS made their presence felt.
