Adam Sarhan was recently a guest on #PreMarket Prep, a daily trading idea radio show hosted by Joel Elconin and Dennis Dick. Tune in to the daily broadcast live Monday-Friday at 8 a.m. ET here.

Sarhan Capital Founder and CEO Adam Sarhan discussed Whole Foods Market, Inc. WFM on the show.

Sarhan noted how the stock was falling in the pre-market while the company faced increased competition with nothing proprietary to help protect it as even local grocers offer upscale, organic choices.

Sarhan said it is a difficult environment for the company and “if they're not able to deliver good results in this environment, when will they be able to deliver good results?”

"Investors want to see the stock offer consumers another reason to go there,” and without good results, investors are not buying the stock, Sarhan concluded.

Whole Foods Market, Inc. recently traded at $43.10, down 9.68 percent.
