European ETFs Gain (BP, FEU, EKH, EWU)

Shares of UK-traded stocks surged Tuesday.

The FTSE 100 traded higher by over 2.9% in London, after a slightly down day yesterday, when trading in the U.S. was closed for the holiday.

Among stocks trading higher in the session was BP (BP), up about 6.6 percent.

According to ETFChannel.com ETFs also seeing the impact of the FTSE’s strong day: the iShares MSCI United Kingdom Index Fund (EWU) trading higher by 1.9%.

The SPDR STOXX Europe 50 fund (FEU) is trading higher by over 3.4%, while the Europe 2001 HOLDRS (EKH) is trading unchanged.
