Ticker Change: PowerShares Announces Name, Ticker Changes For Seven ETFs
PowerShares, the ETF unit of Invesco (NYSE: IVZ), announced today that seven of its ETFs will undergo name and ticker changes at the start of trading on Thursday June 16.
The PowerShares Dynamic Large Cap Portfolio (NYSE: PJF) will change its name to the PowerShares Fundamental Pure Large Core Portfolio and trade under the ticker “PXLC.”
The PowerShares Dynamic Mid Cap Portfolio (NYSE: PJG) will be known as the PowerShares Fundamental Pure Mid Core Portfolio and trade under the ticker “PXMC.”
The PowerShares Dynamic Small Cap Portfolio (NYSE: PJM) will convert its name to the PowerShares Fundamental Pure Small Core Portfolio and its new ticker will be “PXSC.”
The PowerShares Dynamic Mid Cap Value Portfolio (NYSE: PWP) will take on the name PowerShares Fundamental Pure Mid Core Value Portfolio and trade under the ticker “PXMV”.
The PowerShares Dynamic Mid Cap Growth Portfolio (NYSE: PWJ) will become the PowerShares Fundamental Pure Mid Core Growth Portfolio and take on the ticker “PXMG.”
The PowerShares Dynamic Small Cap Growth Portfolio (NYSE: PWT) is converting to the PowerShares Fundamental Pure Small Growth Portfolio and will have the new ticker “PXSG.”
The PowerShares Dynamic Small Cap Value Portfolio (NYSE: PWY) will be known as the PowerShares Dynamic Fundamental Pure Small Value Portfolio and trade under the ticker “PXSV.”
PowerShares also said it will lower the expense ratios for all seven ETFs to 0.29% starting on Thursday. At the end of May, PowerShares was the fourth-largest U.S. ETF issuer with 112 ETFs and nearly $46.3 billion in assets under management.
