According to a Bank of America's report released earlier today, F5 Networks' FFIV PO has been increased to $145 from $136.
In the report Bank of America comments on the implications of Intel's new server chip, dubbed Romley. They identified F5 alongside Cisco CSCO as likely beneficiaries of a potential
upgrade to the servers. Bank of America writes: "Romley offers several benefits which we believe will help
increase demand for ADCs, a market F5 dominates with 47% share. We are
increasing our PO from $136 to $145, based on 27x our 2013E EPS, which is in line
with the price/growth profile of competitor Citrix and also consistent with the implied
EV/sales with comparable growth networking companies."
F5 Networks closed yesterday at $136.66
