Deutsche Bank is out with a research report, discussing the semiconductor industry. In the report, Deutsche Bank says it prefers the pc-related names, such as Marvell MRVL. It rates shares of Marvell at Buy.
In the research note, Deutsche Bank writes, "While macro concerns are likely to persist for some time to come, the
combination of lowered ests, lean supply and valuations pricing in a 4Q08 repeat leave us constructive on the semiconductor group. Consequently, we retain our overweight positioning on the semi group, albeit with an increasing attraction to names that have already taken their macro medicine and those that are executing well in this environment. Our preferred stocks are Buy-rated: Avago AVGO, FCS FCS, IDTI IDTI, Intel INTC and Marvell MRVL."
Shares of Marvell closed at $17.32 yesterday, flat on the session.
