Citigroup Previews Finish Line's Earnings

Finish Line Inc FINL reports its first quarter results on Friday before the opening bell. Citi Research analyst Kate McShane forecasted in a note to investors Tuesday EPS of $0.20, $0.02 below the consensus estimate.

McShane went on to predict sales revenue of $451 million, slightly above consensus of $449 million, which is driven by a comp sales increase estimate of 2.5 percent.

While Finish Line stock is down around 11 percent since the start of May, Citi continues to believe it's a strong long-term idea. McShane rated shares a Buy with a price target of $23, 31 percent above Tuesday’s closing price.
