MKM Partners' Megan McGrath reiterated Lennar's LEN Neutral rating with a price target of $52.00. The reiteration came a week before Lennar was planned to report 2Q16 earnings on June 21st.
"We view Lennar as one of the more solid operators in the space with a strong recent track record of earnings beats" said McGrath. Given the combination of a strong track record and recent "lackluster" stock performance, the analyst believed 2Q earnings would could provide "a short-term positive catalyst for the shares."
The analyst remained neutral however due to not seeing "potential for significant upside potential beyond… [the] $52 fair value estimate in a slow-growing housing market, with Fed rate hikes on the table for this year."
At the time of writing, Lennar traded at $45.58, down 0.09% in Tuesday's after-market session
