Is Snapchat Seeing More Growth Than Twitter?

Pacific Crest Security's Evan Wilson commented on Snapchat's growth claiming the company was growing faster than Twitter TWTR, but slower than Facebook FB.

Wilson analyzed key growth metrics for the company:

• It took Snapchat 18 quarters to reach 110M daily active users vs. Facebook and Twitter at 24 and 32 quarters respectively. Quarterly, Facebook is currently growing faster in terms of user growth however.
• "Snapchat's users are almost as active as Facebook's but far more active than Twitter's"
• Snapchat's users are more heavily skewed to the United States as 55% of users are international vs. Facebook and Twitter at 63% and 78% respectively.
• "Snapchat has a far lower monetization than Facebook and Twitter at a similar user size."

As Snapchat considers whether to hold an IPO or not, more investors may compare these growth metrics with the company's public competitors.
