CBS Could Be Worth $80 per Share According to BofA

According to analysts at Bank of America, CBS Corporation CBS could be worth $80 per share in a deal with Time-Warner Inc. TWX. Bloomberg is reporting that a possible merger between the two companies may value CBS at $80 per share (+35% upside), while yielding 2016 EPS accretion for TWX, BofA analyst Jessica Reif Cohen wrote. Ms. Cohen went on to point out other possibilities: -Viacom Inc. VIAB acquiring CBS, with CBS value at $75 per share -CBS as M&A survivor (repurchasing National Amusement's interest in co.) gives CBS base-case value $77 to $80 per share depending on consideration used (cash vs split off) Bank of America rates CBS as a Buy, with $70 price target ( the base case price target excludes the M&A scenarios). Shares of CBS are little changed in pre-market trade.
