Marriott Goes Hi-Tech with Courtyard Parsippany Renovation - Analyst Blog

Marriott International, Inc. MAR announced the completion of the multi-million dollar renovation of the Courtyard Parsippany in Parsippany, NJ. The 146-room hotel, located close to Denville, is a short drive away from New York City.

The hotel's lobby, guest rooms, pool and meeting spaces have undergone extensive refurbishment to offer greater comfort to guests. Marriott replaced the traditional front desk with welcome pedestals where the staff can interact with guests during check-in and check-out.

The hotel has also installed a 52-inch interactive GoBoard that displays weather highlights and the day's headlines. Additionally, guests can get information regarding the latest flights from nearby airports as well as major tourist attractions in New York and New Jersey.

The renovated lobby will also have café-style eatery — The Bistro – Eat. Drink. Connect. — serving seasonal fruits, sandwiches, salads, burgers, pizzas as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The newly renovated hotel rooms offer a luggage drop as well as a tech-drop ledge. The pool and hot tub area of the hotel also received a facelift.

Apart from this, the three meeting rooms as well as the fitness centre have been renovated. The addition of The Market, open throughout the day, will allow guests to buy quick snacks and other necessities.
