In a report published Friday, Morgan Stanley analyst Tony Kaplan lowered EPS estimates on MSCI Inc. MSCI for 2014 but increased EPS estimates for 2015. The recent 4Q results showed the highest quarterly retention rate and highest new recurring subscription sales.
According to the report, Morgan Stanley states "While we are lowering our ‘14 EPS on the increased investments, we are raising our 2015 revenue growth estimate to 8% from 6% (leaving 2014 at ~6%). If the environment continues to improve, we expect there could be room for upside to our estimates."
On Thursday, MSCI closed at $40.74.
