Sonus Networks SONS, a network solutions provider, was upgraded this morning by Lazard analyst Ryan Hutchinson to a Buy from a Neutral rating and given a $4 price target.
In the report, Hutchinson noted that the deal between Oracle ORCL and Acme Packet has lead to more focus on session border controller (SBC) products and more potential partners and customers for Sonus Networks.
This interested in SBC products is expected to provide tailwinds for SONS for the second half due to its exposure to the technology.
Following the report, Sonus Networks traded up 3.79 percent to $3.29.
